One Thing That Really Bothered Me... (Slight Spoilers)

After seeing the movie twice (and only for Neil Diamond), I've determined that it's not as (key word being as) bad as it's made out to be. Sure, Sir Laurence Olivier is a little bit caricature-ish, but all-in-all, not a terrible movie.

However the movie does't get nearly as much flack for it's plot holes. And we're not just talking about the holes you get after washing your favourite Hollister shirt a few times too many times. I mean big, gaping holes.

The one that bothered me the most was in the little montage after Jess sprayed Molly with the hose on the boat. He's too religious to eat pork, but having extramarital sex during the whole Friday night ceremony is apparently no problem.

In my opinion, if I had to choose between the two, eating pork would probably have been the better choice.
