Questions about the movie

The movie starts with brunette Jayne around 1955 and goes up till the time of her death in 1967. This movie was made in 1980. The movie shows Jayne Marie and then in one scene two small boys. At the end there are the two boys and one little girl playing in the back seat, and Jayne tells them to settle down as they have a long ride ahead. Jayne Mansfield's children Miklos, Zoltan, and Mariska Hargitay were in the car the night of the fatal accident. Jayne, her companion, Sam Brody, and the chauffeur Ronnie Harrison were killed. The children survived with some injuries.







When all is said and done, what counts is what's true, and how we all treated one another.

The movie concentrates mostly on Jayne's career and life in the 1950s, before Mariska was born. There are a few scenes that take place in the 1960s but most of it deals with Jayne during her Fox years. One error, among many, is the way Jayne's career is depicted at the end. They show her performing at Gus Stevens Supper Club and show the club as a honky tonk with about 8 or 9 people in attendance. In fact, Jayne was selling out crowds and Gus Stevens' was a nice club in which she was paid around $1,250 per night...$8,000 weekly plus all expenses.
