Opening segment on Night Flight

I saw J-Men Forever on USA Cable's Night Flight, when it was first broadcast, and I swear I remember an opening piece that is not included on the DVD. It featured an authority figure talking about the dangers of rock & roll. It looked like a conservative propaganda piece from the 50's. It may have been includedby USA Cable, or by the filmmakers for the broadcast. Anyone else remember that?

It's possible. I used to watch NightFlight back then but I don't remember for sure. I wonder if you aren't thinking of the mouthpiece at the beginning of "Reefer Madness" which they also aired frequently on Night Flight?

For what it is worth, I videotaped J-Men off of Night Flight many, many moons ago. The airing I taped did not include the prologue you mentioned. (I wore out that tape years ago and now look forward to picking it up on dvd.)

Night Flight liked to use little bits of film to fill in spots - old bloopers, costume tests and in PSA's like one of Joan Crawford playing Saintly Mother (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLhOzOLJdTk)....

It's probable that what you saw was a clip from a JD film like those used in the movie, It Came From Hollywood. "We must put an end to this vulgar, lude rocking and rolling!". Never been sure which film that's from.
