The Beyond blows Nightmare City aka City of the walking dead away!!!!!!!!,

But Nightmare City is still one hell of a fun film!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

John Morghen AKA Giovanni Lombardo Radice isn't in THE BEYOND! He's in City of the Living Dead and Cannibal Apocalypse, but no other "zombie" movies.

The Beyond. I think its the best Italian horror film, period.

The Beyond is one of the best horror films period. I have the original version (thanks Anchor Bay!) and the Seven Doors Of Death (the R-rated heavly edited US version). Nightmare City was good, but nowhere as good as The Beyond.

They are both awesome for completely different reasons...

'Nightmare City' was amusing, ridiculous, grade-Z, cheesy Zombie fun.

'The Beyond' was a creepy, supernatural, horror masterpiece...

The beyond is overrated.

I'll take Nightmare city over The beyond.

I think burial ground:nights of terror is a great italian zombie flick.

I think Nightmare city needs to be compared to something that is similar to it. A compariosn of Hell of the Living Dead to Nightmare City seems more adequate

I thought The Beyond was awful... I've seen MANY Itallian horror flicks, and I don't see what all the fuss is about it. Off hand, I can think of two other Fulci films that were much better ('Zombie' and 'Gates of Hell').

I've probably seen 'Nightmare City' at least ten times now. I love it. Much better than 'The Beyond'.

Nighmare City is indeed a better film is response to "Zombie Apocolypse, Realistic death by zombies, and isolation/ fear of being killed by a flesh eating mutations.

The Beyond is indeed a better film in response to "Supernatural Death, Ghosts/ Demons, Possesion or fear of "The beyond" for the rest of your damnation.
