Great story and easy to read, lots more info they don't show in the movie.
The author is Todd Walton.
I got my copy at bookfinder dot com.

No.

In the book Jerry was actually married to Ann.
And Roary didn't try to kill himself he was injured/crippled as a soldier in Vietnam.

I correspond with Todd Walton. He writes a column in a weekly newspaper I subscribe to. I've read several of his novels. Inside Moves was one of his best. Check out Todd's website at underthetablebooks.com.
