I am still traumatized from seeing this movie.

Someday, I'll have to find a copy and watch it again as an adult. My mom took me to see it at a Christian drive-in when I was nine, and I have never recovered from it. I really only remember one scene. Someone holding a balloon gets their head chopped off for not taking the mark of the beast, the balloon is seen floating into the air as the deed is done. Very disturbing-I would not reccomend for children.

Two and a half decades later, I am curious if anyone else is as disturbed as I am over this movie.

I saw it young too. From what I remember, they had a man, woman and little girl in a cell. They took the girl and woman out, you hear the guillotine and see the balloon go up. He assumes they killed the girl and starts calling them monsters, etc... and then the girl walks in and said she let the balloon go to go up to heaven with the woman. As I remember the movie ends with the guy being led out to the bloody guillotine. I too would love to see it again, but I think I can credit that movie as keeping me from having a tattoo to this day!

Actually, that was a little boy, because the character's name is Billy.

This scene and others are available on Youtube if you look it up.

I also was shown this movie when I was young. My sister was 10, I was 8. I'm now an Atheist and she's Agnostic. It totally screwed me up. It is an intense example of Christian propaganda - fear mongering and intolerance. That's exactly what they tried to teach me, if you're not one of us you're a demon. Fortunately my father taught me only tolerance and love.
At one point I had a true hatred for Christians - because of this movie, but now I'm at peace with the fact that some people think they need religion. How could they preach love and then show this to children? It's obscene.
Do NOT show this to your children please. Wait until they are old enough to handle this Jesus snuff film - if you are a Christian that should be never.
I showed the youtube clip to my wife and she was freaked out for days, she's in her 40's.
I don't believe in censorship, but the world would be a better place without this film.

I'm sorry but can I just say you are a pussy. What a sniveling wimp.

This movie did not leave me tramatized, but it did cause me to think a little more than I normally did.

Hatred toward Christians is increasing today like never before, so it is not hard to see that the events in this series will be taking place soon. But I believe that it will be even more horrific than what was portrayed in this movie.

Awesome movie - every home should own a copy on DVD.

And if it stayed with you, I guess it got it's point across. Even if you are screwed up now :)

I was also made to watch this in a church when I was 9 years old. What silly rubbish!

Once I asked the question, "So, everyone in the whole world who has ever lived, and who wasn't fortunate enough to be born in a time or a geographical region that would have allowed them to hear about Jay-zuss is in Hell, right now?"

When I was told, "Yes, they are." I realized what an entirely screwed up religion christianity is.

Dumping that bat-sh!t religion was the best thing that ever happened to me.

If you would like to learn more about the religious myths of the world, borrow Joseph Campbell's "The Power of Myth" (DVD/book/audio CD) from your local library.

Yes, I am still traumatized by this movie. My parents took me to see it at a church. I was also nine. I left that event thinking that I was going to get my head chopped off. It completely changed my view of church. Years later I became Jewish because of the impact of this disturbing movie that was supposed to bring people to Christ - not turn them off of Christianity or scare them.
