Significance of the Title

Any thoughts out there as to what the title "Hopscotch" means? Perhaps it had more relevance in the book by Brian Garfield. It also begs the question as to why Kendig named his memoir that too.

I've always taken it for granted that the Hopscotch is the chase Kendig leads them all on, jumping from one place to another.

I agree, he was always 1 jump ahead of the CIA at all times.
