I'm watching HK right now, have been familiar with it since I was around 11 or 12...STUNNINGLY good soundtrack, and while it may be true, as others have said, that this was a follower of, and a kind of mash up of, Animal House and American Graffiti, Ive always been impressed with the way the music was used (especially, as the movie heads towards the closing of Tuby's and the changing times, California Dreamin', I hear A symphony, and the Watts DooWoppers singing Tracks of my tears and Under the Boardwalk).

But besides those moments, like American Graffiti, the hits just roll out, one after the other. After all, there's nothing new under the sun, and I'll always enjoy a good film that has those great sixties tunes! I'm gonna try to squeeze in Cooley High tonight too.

Great soundtrack, I've got it along with the movie DVD. Love the music of the 60s-early 70s. Ever notice how a lot of today's commercials have 60s music in the soundtrack?
