Hero At Lare / Captain Avenger action figure

I seem to recall a MEGO-like Captain Avenger action figure shown in this movie. Does anyone else remember this?

I'd love to have it or even see a picture of it.

NOTE: MEGO was a toy company that produced extremely popular action figures in the 70's and early 80's. Their super-hero line possibly being the most well known. In fact, in the Wil Smith movie Pursuit of Happiness, his son is often seen with a Captain America MEGO figure.

Mego had decent articulation for the time. Too bad it was held together by a cheezy band, lol. The very first action figure I ever had was a Mego Green Arrow figure!

The custom figure in Hero at Large may be a 12" Mego base body. I would love a real Captain Avenger figure!

wow, you two seem like experts. Do any of you know how I might find a rare collectable? I once saw a light up sign that read, "A Question of Scrupples" which of course is a board game. The light was so neat. I wonder where to look on line for such a thing.

if you don't win it doesn't matter, as long as you lose like a winner!

Alrighty.

A great resource is "Toyfare" magazine. Lots of current/new and vintage toys. And very irreverent.

I'll be honest, the magazine is great for data, but it's not as funny as it used to be. I believe the main reason is that the core founders left the mag to work on "Robot Chicken".

The first time I saw the magazine in the late 1990s I saw it by chance at the bookstore, it was the last copy and somewhat used. Oh man, I had such a hard time keeping myself from laughing. So - so wrong.
