I was wrong.
I can't figure out the point of this movie. It didn't have any humor, it didn't have any teen angst or sexual situations really. It had no story aside from some waiters at a summer camp. It was a totally worthless waste of time.
I am 15 minutes into it and thought that immediately when I saw that it came out in 1980 (Meatballs was 79, I think)....someone cashing in on a formerly successful idea? Unheard of!
If nothing else, I am at least hoping to see a cute guy or two with his shirt off! LOL
Are you guys serious? A dude who lives in the toilet all summer. A guy who is always jacking off, either in his locker or in a meat locker. This movies rules.
shareIt wasn't the worst movie I've seen, but it just wasn't very funny. Meatballs had Bill Murray who gave it both heart and humour.
