Not what I expected

from the plot of this film I was expecting a subtle satiracal comedy with one of the most original and interesting premises ever, it's such a great idea, so I loved the opening 10 minutes, all about the bushmen's life and how they see this coke bottle and how its effects them.
I was already looking forward to introducing this film like minded folk but then suddenly, we meet other characters and the out of sync dialogue (also from previous posts it seems that this was redubbed)gets sillier and cheesier, with the camera constantly speeding up for no good reason (to be honest sped up scenes are a pet hate of mine in films so this one took the biscuit. so yeah I loved the start and hated the rest.
I wish they took their original idea of the coke bottle and made a short film about it. hammy acting, terrible jokes, just twoddle really I thought. Can anybody tell me why they like this film? I'm open to liking it, cause I just bought it on DVD (sendit.com for 1 and 2 for cheap)

PS dont tell me not to post on this page if I dont like the film, these boards are not just for fans, it's discussional.

Breo, I totally agree, I had the same experience. Had heard about the film, thought it would be interesting, and enjoyed the start. Then it just turned into endless, awful, repetitive, mindless slapstick comedy with stupid "comedy" music and the camera speeding up. One of the worst films I've ever seen.
