He Had no Food and no Medical Care

When they went back to Africa in the early 90's, for the follow-up documentary.

It kind of sums up the situation regarding the wealthier nations of our planet. The thoughtlessness is sickening, especially when N!xau was the continent's biggest film star.

It's really a shame.

The documentary was an amazing look into his actual life. The last filming was done in 2003 and caught the end of his life living in the bush (yes in the bush, not as depicted in the movie but still). He died of Tuberculosis a disease that effects a huge part of the developing countries but is eradicated from much of the rich nations.

UN Millenium Development Goal #6 aims to rid of TB by 2015, progress does not look good.

Thank goodness the richer nations got them some computers, medicine, food, shelter, clothing, etc.

What is a computer compared to the glory of their native lifestyle that was destroyed. The food was probably garbage like genetically modified soy by SOLAE or garbage from Monsanto. The medicine would be completely unneeded if they had the correct building blocks for their immune system and their immune system didn't have to go up against mutant strains of illnesses that any bacteriologist could tell you have grown alarmingly strong from the use of antibiotics, especially when we use antibiotics to treat viruses! Most people prescribed these things get better in the same alloted time as those not prescribed, ten to twelve days. People with tuberculosis have responded to megadoses of vitamin D.
