Missing scene/wrong movie?

I just watched this again after many years and I feel like it was missing a scene. I remembered a scene where a native woman and baby were killed (pushed) or fell off a cliff and I thought that it had been in this movie. Also, I remembered this movie being much more serious with a few comical scenes thrown in. I could not find anything about this, so I thought maybe it was from another movie. I do not know if I saw the South African or US version the first time and thought that maybe in addition to the dubbing, some scenes had been cut for the US release. Any insight would be appreciated!
