Was Gloria a spy?

I know it has never been implied in the movie in any way (or has it?), but i was wondering if you guys thought it possible that Gloria was living there in the same building as the accountant/family so she could keep tabs on them?

As said, i don't think it was even implied, but i find it rather suspicious that she knew all the gangsters that were after the father, the ledger and the boy. Not to mention, it is also fishy that she rings the bell exactly around when the mobsters were about to enter the place. Are those just coincidences?

It could have been that she was sent to the flat with an excuse, being the mom's "friend" and all, as a way to see if the father was home, if he was alone, armed, stressed, unaware etc. But when Gloria is asked to take care of the kid, which she tried to refuse many times (because she knew?) until eventually accepting and that's when she decides to help the kid no matter what and kinda turns on her mobster friends? Maybe it's because she didn't return to them with the information that they ended up blowing up the door and killing everyone, which they would have done anyway, but with less risk involved if they knew what it was like inside the flat?

Maybe, she tried to give back the ledger, since she might have known this is what they wanted, but every time she felt that it wasn't enough and they still wanted to kill the kid, which is why maybe she didn't give it to them after acquiring it and tried to flee instead with the boy. Sounds a bit far-fetched, i know, but not impossible. It would certainly make sense of those coincidences, unless, of course, I'm missing something.

Thoughts?

People who don't like their beliefs being laughed at shouldn't have such funny beliefsī²

It's an interesting theory, but unnecessary. She had previously been in a relationship with a major mobster; that's why she knew who they all were.
