I remember this movie from when I was young and have brought it uop numerous times, I remember Pam Dawber was in it but it seemed like everytime I mentioned "watch" everyone would look at me like I was insane. I started to think that I was the only one who saw the night it was on TV. I would love to buy this movie on DVD.
I experienced the same thing: I watched the movie as a kid (after it was "heavily" promoed for weeks), but years later none of my friends or classmates could remember it. At first I thought it was just my obses, er, uhh, crush on Pam Dawber. But I think people don't remember the movie because of the huge success of Airplane and Mork & Mindy. People remember Hays and Dawber in 1980 for the wild success of those shows, almost to the exclusion of other (smaller) projects.
I faced a similar experience. I remember seeing this when it first aired, I was 8. Years later it seemed I was the only to have seen this movie but I thought it was pretty good with a neat premise.
