I didn't think it was THAT bad. It was better than listening to the teacher lecture....

Boring? That's because you've obviously been asleep throughout the semester. This case, Gideon vs. Wainwright, is FASCINATING! Yes, the movie is a bit of a snoozer, but you should read the Supreme Court case transcripts for entertainment and/or education. Any legal, media, history, or political students who aren't taking a class for more than filler are cheating themselves. I suggest you visit a good site, such as one from Cornell.

What can be expected from the dorks of today? Let's just hope nothing like this happens to them cuz they won't know which end to wipe!

Nothing is more beautiful than nothing.

reply

Maybe, but I think it unlikely that your teacher will bring in "Speed Racer" for you to watch. Are you in class to learn, or to be entertained?

I must agree, this movie was really boring. I was even dissappointed with Henry Fonda's acting. He just annoyed me in this movie. They could of used someone else.

"did i ever tell you i was struck by lightning 7 times?"

reply

Maybe it should have had more car chases, girls in bikinis, and explosions....

I just recently read an article about how many of today's younger generation lack the ability to feel empathy. I guess many of the postings here prove that point.

Just how exciting do you think a true story about this subject material shoud be? Learning how to write isn't that exciting either, but the knowledge of it does come in handy later in life.

The complainers above have betrayed themselves -- or tipped their hands -- as juvenile, immature, and unscholarly.
They're not intellectual giants.
Their comments are childish, and they're riddled with errors in spelling, grammar, and usage.
Clearly, the gripers are not good students.
Those expressions of displeasure with a magnificent movie and an important story should not be taken seriously.

Please go away and come back when you grow up. Or in fact, stay far, far away.

reply

What are you expecting? A striptease, diddle, and then a home-cooked meal? It was made for T.V. in an era (probably) long before you were born. Try reading a book!!

reply

I saw the whole movie. I enjoyed it, but I have also have a legal background in criminal defense.

It all depends on what your interest is.
