Watch the longer international cut, you'll either like it more or hate it more.

I can guarantee that it could only make me hate it more. That movie wasn't even likable as 'camp'.
It makes "The Ice Pirates" look like high art.

A dog turd couldn't make Ice Pirates look like high art, but I understand what you're saying - it's a hard film to like. I used to catch it late at night on TV years ago and over time it grew on me.

I understand what you mean.
I stumbled upon an ultra low budget sci-fi flick called "Overdrawn at The Memory Bank" that starred Raul Julia. It's really pretty bad but I like it. :)

I thought bad in a good way. It's camp! And I thought it was funnier than spaceballs (Rick Moranis only has the good lines in that movie).

I just loved the slams to other sci-fi. The bag scene was pretty good. I know sometimes I would like 2 bags: one for her and one for me in case hers falls off. We're all god's children in the dark.:)

Hey, "Ice Pirates" has a 5.3 IMDB rating, so it must be better!

FWIW, "Galaxina" is like a porno, without the sex.

I was going to give it 3 stars, but raised it to 4 because of the Batmobile's cameo and the "Let's beat the crap out of the old b&$%*#d!" scene.

Batmobile makes everything cooler!

Best post so far for this movie. Both spoilers are the only things that really stuck in my head all these years.

I saw Galaxina in the theatre in 1980. I went alone and I was so pissed that I didn't have someone to elbow and say "Hey! It's the Batmobile!" The movie only lasted a week and I've never met anyone else who's seen it.
