Great call, Chad!
Back in the '70s, pollution was causing "global cooling" and we'd all freeze in 20 years or so. Well, that didn't happen.
Then in the '90s, our pollution was causing "global warming", but that's not happening either.
Today, our pollution is causing "climate change" because sometime it's hot and sometimes it's cold. Ohhhh, that can't be because Earth is rotating around the sun, now is it?!
I suggest to whomever reads this, ask yourself which political party will benefit from eliminating America's industrial power and then decide if it will benefit society.
"Electric cars will save the world"... How will the electricity be produced to charge those batteries?
"We need to rid ourselves of coal-fired power plants"... Then get used to living without electricity since around 60% of America's electricity is produced from those plants.
"Wind power will supply all our needs"... Not even close! If you have a farm in the middle of Iowa, then sure. Otherwise, it's all crap. Not enough capacity.
Face it America: OBAMA = Oh, Big-Assed Mistake America
Nukes and coal and drilling = USA's independance from Middle East Oil
Oh, as for the movie, from a former US nuclear sub crewman's perspective, didn't see the beginning, but Connor's English accent was for crap and launching a Subroc at a target 5,000(?) yards away will kill BOTH ships!!
