Is there suppose to be Subtitles?

This film is uploaded (the full 156 mins) on youtube by a few different users, however none of the videos have subtitles to the non-english parts... is this supposed to happen?
I can't imagine you're supposed to just wing it.

In the first three minutes when the Japanese guy is remembering the woman who left him, I've no idea what she said.
I couldn't really enjoy not knowing what was being said, or knowing what the Japanese writing is suppose to signify, so I had to turn it off which was a pity because I was really getting into it.
