I’ve had the Soundtrack for well over 20 years

I’ve had the Soundtrack for well over 20 years(on vinyl), I love that song “On the Radio”, but I’ve never seen the film. I want to know, have I missed something good?

"We're all out of cornflakes. F.U." Took me three hours to figure out F.U. was Felix Unger!

Saw it on cable last night. Definitely worth your time.

Nice little time capsule of the late 70's. I saw it because I was a big "Runaways" fan.

It was sort of weird for me to see Jodie Foster & Scott Baio is this film, though, because I had last seen them together in "Bugsy Malone". LOLOLOL!

Hi, as a matter of speaking this was the film that really to me, introduced me to Donna Summer. On the Radio, my favoritre song from her, actually makes the movie. Yes, this film was excellent to me honest. However, the sound qualily on the Key Video on VHS in the 1980s really was a bore, which in my view depreciated the film's value. However, On The Radio really stole the show of the whole movie on the video. Bad sound quality did not take way the pleasure of this music. Moroder was the king of the 1980's soundtracks. This was the first one he started in 1980's after Midnight express in 1978. Of course with our luck, it was never even released on CD soundtrack. This is without a doubt, Donna Summer's best treasure. Then again you can also include her version of Don't Cry For Me Argentina. No one sends it better then her. Those who disagree most likely never heard her sing it. For Moroder, his best two soundtracks are this and Cat People. Luckily, Cat People is still in print (but not remastered), and of course, Foxes never was on CD soundtrack. I also bought a CD copy on Ebay 3 years ago, but quailty of horrible. You got her the record scratch as of cousre it was copied from a records. I was disappointed, because I like Moroder's instrumental version of "On The Radio". You obviously have graet taste in music.

PS Luckily, in summer of 2003, Foxes came out on MGM DVD, and I must say it was much better then the Key video.

i would love love love to have the soundtrack to this. there was one song in particular i liked. it was a bit jazzy & reminded me of something that would have inspired the genre deep house you can hear out in a lounge in any city now.
it was the song playing when jody & scott were in the valley on a hill having a make shift picnic/ break from scott spraying christmas trees. it was playing as the sun was setting, a beautiful scene. a bit towards the end of the film...

That song playing while Jodie and Scott have lunch in the valley is " Fly too High" from Janis Ian.

Macmar, if you haven't seen the movie yet, then I say get the DVD! I love this movie. It's a coming of age film about kids growing up too fast in Los Angeles, CA. It's also about friendships and the strained relationship that teens can have with their parents, as they go from being kids to adulthood themselves.

The soundtrack is the PERFECT backdrop to the movie. And you're LUCKY to have a copy of it!

The best thing about the movie is the band Angel which nobody ever mentions, would be great to see any footage of the band not used in the film, a very underrated band, the film is too depressing and uneven for my taste but that is my humble opinion, Angel Rocks !
