...Leif Garrett! he was at his peak in 1979, he would have been perfect in this movie, whether as actor or as performer.

Hate to burst the bubble but Leif Garrett was a TERRIBLE actor who sucked the air out of a scene. He was fortunate to have worked with some good actors-particularly Kristy McNichol.
However..I'm willing to concede on one point. In the late 70's / early 80's he was definitely hot. I loved that long, unruly blond hair, those dreamy eyes, the shy smile...

I have always wanted to see the episodes of Family with Leif Garrett. He's not the best actor, but was still pretty cool in the 70s.
