DVD

Does anyone know if this is available anywhere on DVD. I assumed that it would be included as an extra on the Amelie DVD ( the things I like / things I don't like , being repeated in that film) however I have not been able to find it on any version. I currently have it as an extra on my VHS copy of Delicatessen but my video is broken and it's only use is as a clock !!

I've seen his features (apart from lost children)and would love to see his shorts. They should put them all together onto DVD

it is on the french version of the Amelie DVD. If your dvd player can read Zone 2, you could order it on the internet... sorry for such a late answer (yeah like 2 years after !!)

Many thanks - I had a look on amazon.fr and saw the 2-disc version with Foutaises on it but as far as I can tell (my French is almost non-existent) this edition is listed as having only French sub-titles. Any idea if it also has English subs.

Thanks again for the reply.

I downloaded a pal size version with English subs, afraid I can't remember where from though. I don't have any peer-to-peer software or anything like that so it was from a normal website somewhere.

I have the spanish subtitles file (srt), I don't remember where I found it, but it must not be difficult to translate to english. Tell me if you are interested.

reply

The French DVD of Amelie has no English subtitles.

Can somebody tell me how could I get the music of this film? I know the composer is Carlos D'Alessio, but I can't find the piano music anywhere. Thank you!

reply

Oh wow. 4 years later (and like 5 years later than my same question!) I finally have the answer to that question. It's called Valse de l'Eden (Carlos d'Alessio) and you can hear it on youtube. You can actually buy it on the european Itunes, but I don't know about the US one. Enjoy!
