6 murderers?
There are only 6 ghosts that return for vengeance. In the church, at the end of the film, it looks like there are more than 6.
shareIt was six conspirators who plotted to have them ship wrecked and plundered with the the false bonfire. That's ultimately what the fog have come back for ie '6 must die' - they're going to kill 6 townspeople in revenge (who are probably descendants of the conspirators, but Im not sure).
The Fog itself is a small ship full of people. It looked about 10-20 of them.

Yes exactly. I thought there were supposed to be 6 men who have come back for revenge. But it looks like there are more than that as they stand in the church. Maybe more were outside queuing up at the door. Lol.
shareHuh? The movie makes it CLEAR that the six men were the conspirators who plotted against the colony of lepers. The lepers' ship was sank and their gold plundered, so the lepers return one-hundred years later to claim six lives because it was 6 people who originally conspired against them. How can you not understand that?
