Spot all the Halloween references/connections

Some of the connections to Carpenter's Halloween are more obvious than others.

Start with the actors. Jamie Lee Curtis, Nancy Loomis and Charles Cyphers all appeared in Halloween. And then you have Tom Atkins who was in Halloween 3.

Atkins' character was named Nick Castle. Nick Castle played the Shape aka Michael Myers in the original Halloween.

Nancy Loomis drives a paneled Ford station wagon in both The Fog and Halloween.

Of course, a number crew people work on both as well.

Any other references/connections?

Nancy Loomis didn't drive a station wagon in either movie. If I remember correctly it was a Chevy Monte Carlo in Halloween and it was Janet Leigh's character that drove the station wagon in The Fog.

You are remembering incorrectly. Watch Halloween and The Fog. You will see Loomis driving a station wagon.

You're thinking of the station wagon stolen by the Shape in Halloween.

Damn. I can't believe that went over my head all these years!

Carpenter used to name characters after his friends and colleagues in his movies. There was Romero and Cronenberg in Escape from New York for instance, if I remember correctly.

The Fog has a few more cases of this;
Charles Cyphers plays 'Dan O'Bannon'.
George Flower plays 'Tommy Wallace'.
