Fastest Lay in Movie History

Nick picks up Elizabeth, the hitch-hiker, just a few minutes past midnight. By 12:55 (or so) they're already relaxing in bed together. That has to rank as one of the quickest pickups and lays in movie history, next to the scene in Phantasm where Jody picks up the mysterious girl at the local tavern.

Still is. Pimp to the end.

... and women were, apparently, incredibly easy.

I dig Lovecraft, but the username is a bastardization of an old Van Morrison tune. :)

I have to shamefully admit I'm not that well read on Lovecraft to be able to voice any opinion. But it wouldn't surprise me. Lovecraft has had an immense influence on horror.

Of course, Atkins (Nick) is slick with the chicks and doesn't waste time
smooth-talking them.

reply

Well, there's some line in the truck where Nick says something about not being lucky, and Jamie's character replies "we'll see about that," with a sly grin. I guess they were both looking to get lucky ASAP.

reply

And the wine was cheap.

reply

Oh, you still had to work at it, but your chances of success were much greater. Remember, this was before AIDS, when most STDs could be cleared up with a shot of penicillin and none could kill you. The women weren't easy, they were liberated! You could make them roar if you did it just right....

reply

And before AIDS!!

It obviously isn't the first time she "hitch-hikes"

Atkins managed to score this fast without his trademark mustache... imagine if he sported the facial hair!

***You are what you is***

Wait a second.. this is a food restaurant we dont serve salad

Judy's boyfriend in Halloween was the quickest lay. They go upstairs. By the time Michael walks around to the back door and goes through the kitchen, not even a minute or two has passed and Judy's stud is getting dressed and telling her he'll call her tomorrow.

reply

[deleted]

Michael should have killed Judy's boyfriend instead, for being so quick!

But still a lay.

I always found that pretty comical. It's Carpenter's sense of humor coming out in a subtle way.

And yes, he pulled it off without his mustache. Tom Atkins: A god among men.

Anyone here mentions Hotel California dies before the first line clears his lips.

It's the white undershirt, gets the chicks every time.

The name's Plissken !

reply

A wife-beater no less!

reply

Hey, we are talking about Lt. Diehl from The Rockford Files here...

reply

What's even more impressive is that Nick didn't even have to buy her a drink first. He just gave her a sip of his. Fast and economical.

reply

Haha! So true!

reply

 So very true!

A close second would be when J.P Monroe beds the blonde in "Hellraiser III".

I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?
Penfold, shush.
