Is this the movie that I'm looking for?
Greetings, all. I've got a somewhat silly question about "Tie qi men." I saw a film named "Spearmen of Death" when I was a teen (close to 20 years ago), and thought that it was just about the most incredible Martial Arts film that I had ever seen. Searching the 'net a couple of years ago, I discovered that this film is (probably) "Tie qi men" or, alternately, "Flag of Iron." I now own a DVD of the film (titled as "Flag of Iron"). Looking at the releases, it is clear that a large portion of the running time of "Tie qi men" was cut, and "Flag of Iron" is missing a LOT of footage. I'm not even 100% sure that this is the film that I remember from my youth.
Now, for my question, an answer for which will FINALLY set me at ease over the most aweseme Kung Fu movie ever made: In the film that I'm thinking about, the main character (Iron Panther / Philip Kwok?) works as a waiter, and a string of assassins come and try to kill him. In my memory, the waiter defeats one of the assassins by breaking a plate in quarters and stabbing the assassin in the heart with one of the sections. IS THIS FOOTAGE from "Tie qi men?" This scene is not included in "Flag of Iron," but it could very well have been cut. Someone help, please!
