Misunderstood...
Am I the only one who realizes that this movie was intended to be a comedy? It was somewhere in between the badly re-dubbed stock-footage (giving us ridiculously inaccurate information) and the scene where a competitor in the fictitious karate tournament pokes out his opponent's eyes and tosses them at the spectators (not to mention the whole stupid concept), that I began to wonder if maybe this movie was deliberately putting me on. I think they (the writers and director) intended to satirize the 'Brucesplotation' sub-genre by showing us how asinine the whole concept is (an entire sub-genre of film created for the soul purpose of exploiting an icon's death for a profit) and then carrying the idea to even more absurd lengths.
Granted it's still not a great film; it's one-joke premise is not particularly funny (unless you think it was intended to be serious), it "barrows" way too much footage from 'The Invincible Super Chan' in an effort of fill out it's runtime and one could even argue that it ends up becoming what the filmmakers originally set out to mock, but regardless of these flaws, I think it deserves a bit of admiration for at least attempting to mock a distasteful, but apparently very popular (they most have been making quite a profit because they sure did make a lot of them) exploitation sub-genre.
