Who was your favourite character?

I was just wondering who your favourite character was?

And also which character you think you identify most with?

My favourite was Ralph and the character I think I identify most with is Doris.

i liked lisa. poor girl; that dancing tacher lady was such a cow to her!

reply

Queen of chocks, I watched it again last night and I encourage you to view it objectively and you might concur that the so called poor dancer girl had her flunking out coming to her. She barely made the cut then she was constantly talking while never pressing herself to work hard. The teacher attempted to motivate her and I can guess that the final straw that broke the camel's back is that this gurl starts giving her attitude on top of being mediocre in talent. Attitude determines altitude and it is good that the film did not sugar coat that message. The dancer seemed a bit misinformed. She seemed to get worst in attitude after seeing the more talented Leroy or Bruno verbally spar with their teachers. She should've known that what is goof for one is not good another.

Umm... I gotta go with Coco. That Francois guy is such a creep. Why the hell did she take her shirt off for him???

reply

Doris, she's very sweet. Plus, she goes all out for Rocky Horror! Whoo! (Rocky Horror is my fave movie ) I thought that was really cool the way she overcame her fear and Time Warps!

I liked Hilary van Doren, the ballerina girl. She was centered on her dancing and down to earth. Doris was sweet though!!

reply

I liked Hilary, too, emilia.

COME ON!! LEROY!! "I's single and I loves to mingle!"

reply

Leroy rock, but I like Bruno!
He is SO cute!!!!
Why doesn't anyone favor him?

reply

I loved Bruno too. I can totally identify with him.

did anyone else want to see him and Coco together at the end? I was waiting for that hookup the whole movie!

Don't breath too deep, don't think all day...

reply

I was also hoping they would get together, but maybe they hookup in
the TV serie!

reply

Had mad love for all of them but..............

*Doris was my favorite.

*Garcie got on my everlasting last nerves

*Had a crush on Bruno

*Coco wasn't too bright

*Felt sorry for Montgomery and Mrs. Sherwood (They made me cry)

*Total respect for Mr. Shorofsky

*and I knew Leroy had issues the second I saw him but glad he solved it with Mrs. Sherwood's help.

Peace.

To answer the question of why Bruno is not more popular...he acted kind of aloof. He was all about his music, but came across as an Autistic or Savant. He communicated with his father and Cocoa, but even they might be the first to admit that he communicated strangely.

reply

I vote for Bruno too. I love the scene where he's watching Coco play the piano--you can tell he's really attracted to her, even though he doesn't say anything. He also had great 80s hair.

reply

Yes, Doris rules at Rocky Horror! I met Sal Piro, the guy that gets the crowd going, at a convention. Such a nice man. I asked him about Fame and he told the fans all about when they were filmed for that scene.

If you're curious, you're not gonna believe who else I met there...

I would have to say Ralph and Doris are my favorite and I also like that one guy with the red hair who was gay...but I can't rememeber his name!

reply

The guy with the red hair was Montgomery.

Peace.

Not to be facile, but same answer to both: Montgomery. He and Doris provide my favourite quote from the movie:

"Everyone falls in love with their analyst. There's a word for that isn't there?"

"Homosexuality"

reply

No, "transference."

reply

BRUNO

I LOVE HIM
mmmmmmmmmmm bruno

reply

No, "transference."

You do realize that they were directly quoting the movie, right?

reply

My favourite is Bruno :D

reply

Bruno has always been my favorite character, both in the movie and the series.

My all time favorite was Doris....I hated Doris Schwartz on the tv series...But Maureen Teefy rocked in the flick and not Valerie Landsburg who played Doris Schwartz and the character last name was not the same in the flick. My second favorite character was Lisa Monroe who loved to talk in dance classes and the teacher who was so hard on her cause she wanted her to motivate in classes was my favorite. Don't feel bad for the dance teacher cause she allowed all of that and told her in sophomore year that Lisa didn't have what it takes...Did Lisa become a vocal major since she sang for graduation and I have no recollection of what her junior or most of her senior year was?

reply

Does a teacher count? I remember liking, and feeling sorry, for the teacher played by Anne Meara (can't remember her name)....she was full of rowdy classmates who didn't want to be in English class, had her own problems, but managed to somehow get through to Leroy in the end.

It's been a long time since I've seen this movie but I really liked this character.
