The Brian Eno bits(All the water bits) can be found on his albulm "Another Green World". The Bird list song can be found without the words on most Michael Nyman compilations. As for the rest there were the michael nyman with peter greenaway works which included it all but it was on tape and has gone out of print. However nyman seems to be releaseing loads for cds recently so i would have thought he would redo the falls at some point. incidently i think the soundtrack for a walk through h was even better

Part of the soundtrack, Nyman's last 4 variations of the Mozart Concertante used for the captions, are available on the CD Miniatures. The track is called 89-90-91-92, and lasts about one minute.

The Mozart Concertante is widely available and appears, on 78, in the film.

Thanks, I assumed it was by John Hyde according to the credits, but i'd never heard of him. If the guys on petergreenaway.org don't know, then I doubt anyone does. After a bit of research it seems John Hyde was a composer/producer for Rouge Music & Music De Wolfe, the famous library-music labels. I've managed to track down the Hyde composed album 'Red Kite' (released 1982), which contains lots of ambient pieces in a similar style to the unknown music in The Falls, but none of the pieces match, and none contain an eletric guitar. If the music WAS ever actually available (assuming it is by Hyde), then I think it's safe to assume that it will be on Rouge or De Wolfe, in say the '78-81 era. Library music is a scary, unknown world to me (even as a record collector myself), and no complete discographies exist for these labels anywhere. Also, much of the music is credited to diffrent artists (the 'Red kite' album is ''played by Astral Sounds'', who can be found playing on approx. 14 albums by several different composers.)
I will, however, put out some feelers and see if I can dig up any more info on this one, I watched that section of the film again today and was reminded how much I like that piece, so it seems worth tracking down.... Any library music afficionados out there reading this want to lend a hand?

Just noticed in the credits there is mention of De Wolfe Music (sic), so let's assume it's from that label.
