Something I don't quite understand about this movie

Well, I just watched it again tonight and I still don't get something (actually, the same thing since the first time I watched it).

How can Eric know where Marilyn lives? I mean the movie didn't show that he stalked her or anything. He just got into her house and got into her bathroom.

Can anyone help me on this?

I always assumed he stalked her off screen as disturbed as he was. He stood outside her job and watched her unroll the poster reprint he gave her.
