Why would Anchor Bay studio reissue this dark cult classic of a 80's flick? Why because you don't feel you should have to pay the going rate for the DVD itself. I have the solo flick by Anchor Bay, as well as the Anchor Bay 'Double Feature' that includes forever foxy, Linda Blair in "Hell Night"

Yes, they are Out Of Print, but I wouldn't really wait all that time for another company to release an updated copy. Most of these cheapos that post here, who constantly cry about the prices or too high, or too expensive of a DVD item that's been defunct, and has been just about impossible to locate. Those cheapos, well they'll wait until the Lords Rapture, just so they can keep their grubby, nasty, dirty hands in they pockets, instead of enjoying the movie now, by forking over some decent valued freight.

Here's hoping and really hoping that you don't ever see this DVD of "Fade to Black" get a reissue, hence if you HAVE to see it, you'll have to go home and break open that dusted old sock underneath your filthy mattress, in order to lay out the formidable freight for the original , and very Rare and Scarce DVD of "Fade to Black"

Let me know how you do, Okay???!!!

Why so bitchy? The OP just wanted a re-release, not your number.

This movie has a following. It's obscenely expensive when you can find it. If they would realize it, they would be losing money on the people that watch if for free online. Sure, I'm happy paying to support art I like, but I can't if it's not available.

I got mine paired with Hell Night for $15 at Half Price Books.

If you haven't found it yet, Amazon Marketplace has a copy (double feature disc with Hell Night) for $24 and $27.

Finally a mutated human that has some essence of common sense. Yeah, the double deuce discer, that features 'Hell Night' w/ 'Fade to Black' is the strong play. Especially if you just intend to view the movie and are not a 'collector' who's looking to put it away, hoping to make some extree bacon strips. Good deal , MikePaul, anyways my numbers unlisted.

It's good to have, esp if you're a fan of both flicks. I missed out on the Fade To Black 's solo disc and my original Hell Night was scratched up.

It needs a Blu Ray release.

Ditto on a Blu-ray. I'm surprised it hasn't been picked up by a company like Shout Factory yet. I paid $45 for the Anchor Bay standalone DVD— I already have Hell Night so I didn't see a point in getting the double feature, especially since they're the same price essentially.
