Marilyn

Linda Kerridge is spit on as Marilyn Monroe. The likeness is spooky. She should have been offered mire roles as Monroe.

Definitely! I recently talked to Linda and she's a total sweetheart. She's my favorite thing about the movie.

reply

She was very beautiful in this. The way she kept licking her lips certainly got my attention.

Hey agentalbert I heard about this film a year or two ago and considered checking it out but never got around to it.

What did you think of the film?

reply

Pretty good, a little better than I expected. It got on my radar with Vinegar Syndrome putting out a blu-ray, but I didn't blind buy it. Just watched it on Amazon Prime (AMC+) and liked it well enough. Not too heavy, has some humor, and Linda Kerridge is certainly easy on the eyes. Good shower scene with her too.

Thanks for your input, I'll go ahead and check this one out. From looking around online (and at other posts on here) it does seem to be relatively well regarded.

One of Mickey Rourke's first films. Worth watching just for that if nothing else. Although it was fairly popular when it first came out. It's pretty tame compared to most thrillers. But even without Mickey it's still worth the watch. Just don't expect too much from it.

Thanks for sharing your opinion.

I'll check this flick out, the 'meta' nature of it sounds interesting with the protagonist being a cinephile. I reckon I'll like it.

reply

I think you'll definitely like it.
