Terribly Underrated
Call me crazy, but I like this movie far more than Death Wish.
shareI agree. The war scene in the beginning alone makes it a great film. I am a fan of the Death Wish films but this film had a great revenge plot as well. His motivation was believable and warranted.

Agreed!! And there was nothing cheap either about the war scene. They probably used half their budget for that scene alone lol. And I think the acting and characterizations in this were better than Death Wish as well. And when I say Death Wish, I'm talking the original first movie. The sequels were just caricatures compared to the first one.
shareYes that war scene was epic!! That body flying through the air silhouetted by that huge explosion! Awesome. Yes the character development in this was a little more invested. I also like the fact that they brought in the idea of being a Vet in society at that time and dealing with street justice in the manner that he did.
Great film
And the rolling fire balls!!!! They don't make ' em like that anymore!! Even the decapitation was epic. So realistic, with no crappy CGI!!
