Agreed. I have the last pre CGI versions made on laser disc and they are far superior to the dorky, let’s slip bobafet into the background of every scene versions.

I just watch my original VHS versions, my taped off of HBO versions, my taped off of CBS (with original commercials) versions, my taped off of ATV-10 from Australia (with original Australian commercials) versions, and if I am really feeling nostalgic I will listen to an audio cassette version that was taped in a movie theater when the original Star Wars first came out in 1977. I'm hardcore.

I agree. I'm not even a real fan, but I prefer a version as close as possible to the theatrical version.
