1. Yoda explain the force and getting the ship out of the water
2. The whole lightsaber duel between Luke and Vader
3. Asteroid Chase
4. Millenium Falcon floating away with garbage with Boba Fett on their tail
5. Lando betraying Han and Han shooting at Vader

Yes. I was just watching TESB again, yesterday, and was thinking how Yoda using the force to raise the X-Wing was my favorite scene of all time. It was my favorite scene in 1980, and still is now.

The combination of Elements: Yoda, teaching Luke about the force, The X-Wing salvage, Luke and R2 in Awe, The amazing visual FX, and John Williams incredible score.

Perfection.

3. Asteroid Chase

Also very memorable.

1. Luke in the Wampa den (i still try to get the TV remote like Luke retrieved his lightsaber when nobody is there to see...hasnt worked even once)
2. Lando's intro and punking Han for a minute...that is one smooth dude
3. The attack on the Rebel Base on Hoth may be my favorite SW battle of them all
4. Yoda (sorry if thats a cheat...i just love the little green dude)
5. 'I love you!'

1. Han, Chewie, Leia, and C-3PO in the Millennium Falcon escaping 3 Imperial-class Star Destroyers in pursuit.
2. Death Squadron and the Super-class Star Destroyer Executor unveiled. The personal armada of Darth Vader.
3. The Battle of Hoth: AT-AT Walkers destroy the Power Generators.
4. The Millennium Falcon floats away with the garbage, Boba Fett then pursues.
5. The Millennium Falcon gets chased by a few TIE Fighters, and then the Executor, just before making it into hyperspace.

My absolute favorite scene was after Darth Vader tells his secret, and Luke collapses to his knees on the beach and yells: "YOU MANIACS! YOU BLEW IT UP! DAMN YOU! DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!"

Obviously, the best scene is Luke showing up and being a total badass to rescue them.

1. Same as TC. Yoda using the force to get the ship out of water.
2. Same as TC plus the whole Darth Vader telling Luke he's his father is such an iconic moment.
3. The hoth battle. Really like the 4 legged walkers they fight. Also how Luke takes one out by roping himself up it and using his lightsaber to cut a hole in it so he can throw the bomb in.
4. The scene where Luke first meets Yoda and Yoda acts silly.
5. Han being put in Carbonite and how he just says, "I know." to Leia saying she loves him.
