I realise de Palma is an acquired taste and an eclectic style, but without meaning to sound brattish, if you know it's not going to sit well with you, why watch his films?
You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
I think it is pretty obvious that my point is that his films are weird (IMO).
I didn't say it didn't sit well. I didn't say I do not enjoy the films he has made (that I have seen) and I didn't say or imply that this is a bad movie. I'm simply saying that I watched two of his films that I had never seen and realized after the second one that he has a very odd style and there isn't much sense in expecting an average movie.
Additionally, if I only saw one movie of his and thought it was odd that doesn't mean that I should never watch another one he made.
