Two things:
One, I found the version of Anne to be annoying in the play (I've read it in school), but this Anne takes it to a whole new level of annoying. In the play she was tolerable but now she just irks me.
Two, why do they keep pronoucing the sister's name as Mar-Got? I also it was pronounced like Margo.
I don't have any other problems so far but these two.

God bless Melissa Gilbert, but she was basically playing Laura Ingalls as Anne Frank. It was pretty cringe worthy.

That is weird. The Dutch pronunciation is actually Mar-ho. If you watch the Anne Frank Remembered documentary, most of the people who knew the family pronounced Margot's name as Mar-ho, Edith's as E-dit, and Anne's as Ah-nah.

I knew "Anne" was pronounced "An-nah" in that area, but I had no idea on others. I've heard an interview (unfortunately, I can't find the video anymore) where the name "Margot" was pronounced as "Margo", so I kind of just assumed...

When we read it in school, we were told it was pronounced Mar-git... I suppose it's a generational/regional thing.
