Not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be

I thought it was pretty decent, not as good as the 1959 film or Anne Frank: The Whole Story but I liked it.

It was entertaining, but I don't like how they changed alot of the story and it was too Americanized (no accents). I much prefer Anne Frank: The Whole Story and the 2009 BBC version.

Yes, it is that bad.
Due to Ms. Gilbert's "performance," I am reminded of an episode of THE GOLDEN GIRLS. Dorothy is talking about a local actress who was in their club's rendition of THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK. "She was so bad, by the time the Second Act started, the audience was screaming, 'She's in the attic! She's in the attic!""
HORRIBLE!
