LOL! This movie is rediculous but it cracks me up. Jackie's character is a total dork.

It's certainly not a film one can watch too much, but, like Hercules in New York, the few viewings that it allows for are golden.

I think I’ll have to give this movie another try. I watched it once with my friend and we both felt like we were on acid. Perhaps a little preemptive dose will make it play out like a normal movie…..

I would strongly recommend this course of action.

Laughed so hard when the dubbed voice said something like "then I'll be a son of a bitch"!

Having seen all Jackie's films a long time ago this one I just never got round to. I watched it for the 1st time yesterday and I have to say, for my money SPIRITUAL KUNG FU is a funnier, more entertaining and polished flick. HALF A LOAF felt extremely half-baked and in all honesty I can see why Lo Wei wanted it shelved.

The humour is more scattershot and usually doesn't work, just ends up dragging. And the fights, don't even get me started, apart from a few decent scenes such as the dream sequence and the final fight when Jackie shows some nice acrobatic flair. But to choose between the two, despite creative control being with Jackie on this one, I would much rather have a repeat viewing of SPIRITUAL than LOAF. Just my opinion of course!
