Why did Anna's dad beat her?

Long-shot to get an answer here, but what does the Nazi tell Hans's daughter to call him that sets him off on her? "Waldheinie"? Only subtitles I can find translate it as "weirdo", but there must be more to it than that.

The 'more to it' is not in the words spoken but in her dad's feelings about himself, towards Ulrich and his daughter. Ulrich put Anna up to being disrespectful of her father, who reacted violently as a result. But his violence was caused by more than the disrespectful words.
