Off the top of my head:
-Tourist Trap
-Dead Birds
-Cookers (not really a "horror" movie but a suspenseful treatment on drug-induced paranoia with some jump-moments)
-Phantasm
-Cemetary Man
-Dark Hours
-Alone in the Dark (1982)
If you're of a mind to have a 'Nautical Nazi Nite' double-header, see this one paired with "Shock Waves" starring the beauteous Brooke "The Dead Zone" Adams, Luke "Flipper" Halpin and those always-welcome old stalwarts of the genre, John Carradine and Peter Cushing. Brilliance on a budget - and SCA-A-A-A-A-RY-Y-Y-Y!!!

Hunters Blood is one of my favotite Hicksploitation films. Great cast and a really fun movie.
shareI agree, I liked Shock Waves (creepy and unsettling) although it wasn't terribly scary to me. So much of this is really subjective...
Just going with low budget (70s-80s):
1. The Beyond (1981)
2. Deranged (1974)
3. Don't Go in the House (1979)
4. Eaten Alive (1977)
5. The House by the Cemetery (1981)
6. I Drink Your Blood (1970)
7. I Spit on Your Grave (1978)
8. Just Before Dawn (1981)
9. Maniac (1980)
10. Phantasm (1979)
11. Pieces (1982)
12. Sleepaway Camp (1983)
13. Zombie (1980)
Unpleasant dreams...
That’s one of the best horror list ever. 👍
