This movie is far from great but isn't nearly as bad as you think. It's got a really creepy atmosphere and stays with you after it's over, always a good thing for a horror film.

If it's the worst movie then why waste your time posting about it - I hate my ex girlfriend but you don't see me posting her on facebook, why do the same with a movie you hate - Forget about it and move on.

I wish I had a pound (£) for every thread on the IMDB forums entitled 'Worst Movie Ever'. I'd probably be able to retire.

i agree

No, but it's definitely in the bottom of my films list on Flickchart. I've certainly seen worse (Darkhunters, Small Town Folk, and Python; for example).

It did have some creepy and memorable moments. It's just too bad it wasn't put together better, because it had some decent ingredients.

I saw this film when I was quite young in the mid 80s and it absolutely scared me senseless. I watched it again about 5!years ago and I still find a creepy unnerving atmosphere about the whole film. I'm not sure if it's the location or quite what it is about it. Not the best film I've ever seen but nowhere even close to the worst.

reply

This is not even close to being the worst film ever. Death Ship is not a bad film at all.
