Was this the inspiration for Tarantino's new movie DEATH PROOF? The plots are virtually the same and he references numerous other theatrical films and tv shows throughout.

Probably an influence. Maybe not though. Although, my appreciation for this movie is probably why I liked 'Death Proof' better than 'Planet Terror'.

I didn't care for DEATH PROOF. Tarnatino's does much better. However, I did watch Russ Meyer's FASTER, PUSSYCAT, KILL KILL(did I get that write?) and saw the heavy influence.

I don't like to listen to QT most of the time, but I envy his ability to take on different genres and play around with them. I did much the same with a variation on THE WAGES OF FEAR. Instead of four tough guys, why couldn't women
do the job as well as men if not better? I thought it was better than most of the crap they're putting out these days, but Hollywood wasn't buying.

My new project: KENISH-A-WA, THE STONE WARRIOR OF IWO JIMA concerns a secret weapon on Iwo Jima even the Japanese didn't anything about. You could call it "Jason and the Argonauts on Iwo Jima" since I'm a big fan of Ray Harryhausen.

See you at the movies.

Probably. He likes to copy other people's films. Maybe why he's been sued.

Excuse me, he pays homage to other people's films...
