Disappointing and Pointless ...

It's disappointing that short-sighted ABC executives canceled a program in the Top 25 due to high production costs. Ultimately, the longer they had continued, the more 'stock footage' would have been created for use in future episodes. It was pointless to try to resurrect the franchise by leaping the timeline forward 20 years and worse ... place the majority of the action on Earth simply to save production / set costs. Finally, the dismal and disbelievable flying motorcycles were an abomination to everying Galactica stood for - I honestly would have preferred a small shuttle disguised as a VAN or private BUS.

It's ironic that the only episode(s) I really enjoyed dealt with the disappearance of Starbuck - I recently learned that it was written by several of the original series writers - specifically to garner a familiar feel.
