One of the great movie lines

Near the end of the movie, when Heidi wants to switch pieces, the conductor scoffs at the idea. That's when Lee Remick puts him in his place:

"It costs extra to carve 'Schmuck' on a tombstone, but you would definitely be worth it."

I haven't seen the movie in about 15 years, but that line always stuck with me.

It is a goodie. Good call.

One of my favorite lines, which I totally stole and have used many times, is :

How come all of a sudden I don't like the way you say my name?

It's good but the country western title "Tears on My Boobs" gets me to LOL every time she says it! It's unexpected, I guess, and I just love it. Even 35 years later.

On the subject of Paul breaking up with Heidi (and breaking her heart?)

"And it always ends the same way. He feels misunderstood."

I loved that.

"God made man. Then he rested. And on the 8th day, God created George O'Brien."
