What does bellman Rudko bring to nude Michael Humphries?

I've watched this scene several times and while I understand that the scene of Michael practicing is part of the overall Hollywood montage showing all the contestants diligently rehearsing, I can't figure out what Mr. Rudko, the bellman, has brought to Michael Humphries. It looks like some application forms and a publicity photo of Conductor Andrew Erskine. Michael's line is, "Mr. Rudko. I'm truly appreciative. Did they give you any sh*t?" It's never explained or made mention of again in the film. Any ideas what these items might be that Michael wanted and why a bellman of all people would be able to get them?

Sorry for not seeing this post sooner. Rudko was sent by Humphries to sign him in for the competition. According to the script, the competition staff aren't happy but allow it. He then brings him the forms (completed application), rules, flyers etc.
