Great movie

I first watched Coal Miner's Daughter a few years ago and revisited it last night. It's a great movie.

I love the whole vibe of the film. I grew up in the city and have always wondered what it would be like to grow up in a more rural environment and I think I tend to romanticize that kind of folksy life.

Sissy Spacek is great as Lynn and I was surprised to learn that she did all her own singing. That's pretty amazing.
