Makes 'walk the line' look like a toilet seat.

Just had to say it.

I agree with you 100%

This is my favorite movie, ever, and I never get tired of watchin' it.

I a Raggedy Ann in a Barbie Doll world.

reply

HAHAHAHAHA I'm laughing my @ss out! That's funny and true!

And the same happens when you compare the actresses' Oscar winning performances. Sissy Spacek's BECOMING of Loretta Lynn makes Reese Witherspoon's June Carter cry of shame for winning over Felicity Huffman that year.

reply

I take some measure of satisfaction knowing Reese hasn't had a whole lot of career success since that unearned, undeserved Oscar win.

reply

That's really quite sad - schadenfreude over someone winning an award they did not endeavor to win.

Not really.

reply

I must disagree with you. As forbidden10 said, Sissy Spacek became Loretta Lynn in this movie. I will never understand how she did it, but she did.

reply

Exactly !

When the movie came out and I saw the (singing) credits, my jaw hit the floor.

reply

haha I agree. I could barely get through walk the line and have no desire to watch it again. CMD I bought the blu ray I love it so much - I've watched the film about once a year darn near my whole life.

reply

Walk the Line was okay, but it was more of a standard Oscar-bait biopic. Coal Miner's a Daughter has more lasting appeal.
