Filmed during the summer?

I wonder if this was filmed during the summer? Apart from the footy out-takes and scenes of crowds going into the game (which would have to have been filmed during the footy season), I suspect this was filmed during the summer.

I guess it makes sense anyway, as Collingwood FC wouldn't want their players, or their club and facilities, distracted by a film during the season. But in the scene where Ted Parker (Kennedy) and Laurie (Thompson) are talking in the grandstand and they wander down on to the ground, you can clearly see a cricket pitch out on the ground in the background. It wouldn't be there during footy season.

Oh well, one for the goofs. There isn't anything on the goofs pages for this film...yet.
