Any ideas about the ideal woman sequence? What is your understanding of the scene?

I mean the sequence when Marchelo climbs to see the image of Ideal woman.

Wow, I never really looked at it like that...I looked at it as the woman who is ideal still destroys her own image. The movie was mind blowing I thought as in compared to Fellini's other films. I like the fantasy part of it, but yet, some of it bothered me.

anyway...

Did it remind anyone of 8 1/2 if it was kind of reversed on Marcello?

Yes. The ideal woman is Donatella Damiano :) (at least for me).
